StockFloc is built to need as little personal information as possible. There are no accounts and no logins. We do not ask for your name, and we do not sell your personal information.
Your watchlist and app settings are stored locally on your device. StockFloc assigns your device a random, anonymous identifier so features like Rankings can work. This identifier is not linked to your real identity.
If you opt in to Rankings, we store the tickers in your basket, your chosen nickname, and your anonymous device identifier on our servers so we can score and display the leaderboard. Your tickers and nickname are public on the leaderboard by design. We do not collect the number of shares, dollar amounts, or any brokerage information, because StockFloc never connects to a brokerage and never sees your real holdings.
If you ask to be notified at launch on stockfloc.com, we store your email address to send you a one-time launch notice and occasional product updates. We store a hashed (not raw) form of your IP address with the signup to prevent abuse. You can ask us to delete your email at any time.
When you view quotes, charts, or news, the app requests that data from our API and third-party providers. Those providers may process technical request data under their own privacy terms.
We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to understand aggregate site traffic. We do not use third-party advertising cookies on the website. The app may show ads through a mobile ad network under that network's privacy terms; the premium unlock removes ads.
StockFloc is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, or to opt out of certain processing (for example under GDPR or CCPA). Because the app is anonymous, the main personal data we hold is your email if you signed up. To exercise any right, email [email protected]. We will respond as required by law.
We keep Rankings and signup data only as long as needed for the features described here, and we take reasonable measures to protect it. No system is perfectly secure.
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date.
